GAME MONSTER MAGAZİNE COVER

Hi everyone!

As we all know and see every time in this blog, technology not only has affected our teaching methods but also affected the learning skills of students. Here is another way of teaching English with technology.

This week, I created a magazine cover for my educational technologies class. I chose a gaming theme for my magazine cover because I really love playing online games. Also, I think online games are a very attractive topic for the students. I especially chose the game called 'Among us' which I really enjoy playing. First I created an account on the website called 'Canva'. Then I decided on my scheme and pictures that I will use to design my magazine cover. After deciding all of these, I started to create my magazine cover. I named it 'Game Monster' which stands for players of the games. I designed colors, themes, pictures, and afterward, I write an issue date for my magazine.

To sum up, I really want to use this technology-based method with my future students. Because while doing this task I really enjoyed it. It was funny and I did not even notice it was my homework. Doing this task was really exciting and I want my students to feel as exciting as I do while doing their homework.

WİKİPAGE "MY BOOK REVİEW" Today, we use technology everywhere in our lives. It has become an inseparable part of our lives. as an English Language Teaching student, I need to learn how to use technology while teaching English. Making a wikipage is one of the greatest ideas for teaching. You can create many useful wiki pages for your students to make learning funnier for them. While creating my book review, I first thought that I should choose a book that had touched my life and changed it. Then I started to write about the book named "The Education of the Will". I believe this book will help many people and maybe with my book review they will also read the book. This is why book reviews are important. Vocabulary Teaching in Flipped Classrooms

HELLO EVERYONE Today I'll talk about my flipped classroom task. I'm so excited to tell you abıout the details of the task because it was so fun to do this task. Let's talk about flipped classroom method before talking about the task. In flipped classrooms, students are supposed to revise the materials that have been given them by the teachers before the class. Yes, teacher gives the materials before the class and so that students can ask their questions in-class time. In my opinion, it is a very useful way of saving time in the classroom because if the students previously look at materials and have ideas about the subject, there would be more time for students to ask their questions and for the teacher to answer the question in-class time.
