WHAT İS A LANGUAGE AWARENESS TASK

Hello!

In this post, I’m going to talk about language awareness tasks.

I know when students hear about the word task they usually don’t get excited. They mostly don’t want to waste their time with tasks worksheets. But as we know it’s now so easy to do anything we want thanks to technology. For example with the help of “corpora”(plural of ‘corpus') students can find any text relevant to their tasks. They don’t have to spend a lot of time with their tasks. Also in my opinion, if the students search in corpus they can have more responsibility for their tasks because they learn with themselves. Corpus is one of the examples of data-based learning and we know that data-based learning gives more responsibility to students and they get more interested and interactive.

Language awareness task. Language awareness tasks are very important while teaching a language. They make students think more about the grammar rules and so that they think deeply about the structure of the language they learn. I’ve created a language awareness task with my friend Betül. Our task is about the use of “when and while" conjunctions. Also, we have shared a website where students can find many relevant texts about these conjunctions and think about how they are used in texts.

Wikipages 'Bookreviews'

WİKİPAGE "MY BOOK REVİEW" Today, we use technology everywhere in our lives. It has become an inseparable part of our lives. as an English Language Teaching student, I need to learn how to use technology while teaching English. Making a wikipage is one of the greatest ideas for teaching. You can create many useful wiki pages for your students to make learning funnier for them. While creating my book review, I first thought that I should choose a book that had touched my life and changed it. Then I started to write about the book named "The Education of the Will". I believe this book will help many people and maybe with my book review they will also read the book. This is why book reviews are important. Vocabulary Teaching in Flipped Classrooms

HELLO EVERYONE Today I'll talk about my flipped classroom task. I'm so excited to tell you abıout the details of the task because it was so fun to do this task. Let's talk about flipped classroom method before talking about the task. In flipped classrooms, students are supposed to revise the materials that have been given them by the teachers before the class. Yes, teacher gives the materials before the class and so that students can ask their questions in-class time. In my opinion, it is a very useful way of saving time in the classroom because if the students previously look at materials and have ideas about the subject, there would be more time for students to ask their questions and for the teacher to answer the question in-class time.
